Here’s hoping ALL of you will be making tomorrows Unfancy Food Show at The Bell House, because we’ll be introducing THREE NEW FLAVORS, two of which will most likely never be released to stores, plus bringing on back from the vault that we also don’t wholesale (most retailers shy away from our more exciting flavors in favor of “traditional” ones with more common man appeal, though honestly, I think the “crazy” ones are our best work). Here’s what you have to look forward to tomorrow!
BRAND SPANKING NEW!!!
“The Annaliese”-Chocolate cake with chocolate mascarpone buttercream, fresh berries, and chocolate ganache
“The Yvonne”—2003 Late harvest reisling cake & buttercream topped with blueberry-thai basil compote (this one is SO good, and you know I’m not usually a horn tooter)
“Romeo y Julliette”- Guava cake with cream cheese buttercream and guava puree
RETURNING FROM THE VAULT AFTER AN EIGHT MONTH HIATUS!
“The Iona” (as featued on Tasting Table):
Pear-olive oil cake with blue cheese buttercream, port wine reduction and candied walnuts
Other returning favorites:
“The CPB”- chocolae cake with peanut butter buttercream, cpb ganache and roasted peanuts
“The Duckwalk”- Vanilla cake with blueberry port and mascarpone buttercream, and homemade blueberry port jam
After Unfancy, grab the B61 down to the Mercado on Van Brunt and Coffey to watch the World Cup, drink Sixpoint in our lush outdoor garden, grab dinner from the Red Hook Ballfield vendore and eat more cupcakes! How’s that for a plan?
