Today marks our first Wednesday delivery ever, meaning that many of the spots you love will be getting fresh cupcakes every other day!  Woohoo!

Since this is the first week of the new schedule most of our clients are still getting adjusted, plus our newer spots are still working out their ordering routines, so make sure you pay attention to the list at the bottom of all of our thrice-weekly flavor posts saying exactly where stuff is getting delivered.  In a few weeks this stuff will be all routine and boring, just like today’s Tumblr post (I’ve really just got nothing today. I’ll try harder for Friday, I promise. I’m just caught up in all this Charlie Sheen drama and my brain is literally turning into pudding, yet I can’t turn away. I tried pulling up a documentary on Netflix this afternoon to reverse this, but then I saw that they have “Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo” on demand and that whole idea went to poop. I’ve also strained all the muscles in my neck, hips and back.  Umm…those two last bits of info are TOTALLY unrelated….ummm….yeah.  Back to cupcakes).

Clockwise from top: The Ellie, Mocha Almond Turtle, Romeo y Juliette.  Forgot to shoot the Liddabit before I boxed them all up- they’re sexy though.  Trust me.

The Liddabit:  Chocolate cake, salted caramel and nougat buttercream, crushed peanuts, ganache and caramel drizzles

The Ellie:  Walnut cake, espresso buttercream, roasted walnuts

Mocha Almond Turtle:  Mocha almond cake, mocha salted caramel buttercream, roasted almonds, salted caramel and ganache

Romeo y Juliette: Guava cake, guava paste, cream cheese buttercream, guava puree

Good morrow ladies & gentlemen!  Hope your weekend was spectacular- we on our part made three wonderful discoveries:

#1: Campo de’Fiori in Park Slope makes an excellent pizza, particularly the one slathered in sexy-as-f%#k burrata. Between that and the life-altering experience I had at Paulie Gee’s last weekend, as a native I can only say the BK pizza world is getting better.

#2: I state this without a single iota of hyperbole:

The movie “Cool As Ice” will completely change your life.

This is the movie that makes “Showgirls” look like “Citizen Kane”. It will challenge your notions of such things as “music”, “love” and “physics”.  And it will cause you to face the important questions in life, such as “Why don’t people shave lines into their eyebrows anymore?”.

Interesting note before watching: the cinematographer went on to win an Oscar for his work on “Schindler’s List”.  That was not a joke.

#3:  Each year I watch the Oscars, and each year I’m always completely disappointed (exception if Steve Martin is hosting).  This year I didn’t watch the Oscars, followed the whole thing on Twitter, and got to watch the entirety of America be disappointed as I watched the first season of “Party Down” on Netflix. Technology is a beautiful thing.

And now to get your workweek off on a sweet note, we’ve been dropping off cupcakes all morning.  Since this is the first week on our new schedule of Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, make a note of the list on the bottom to find out where we’re delivering to today!

Clockwise from front: Coconut Bliss, The Ellie, Banana Cashew, Mocha Almond Turtle

COCONUT BLISS:  Coconut cake, coconut almond buttercream, roasted almond & coconut, chocolate ganache

THE ELLIE:  Walnut cake, espresso buttercream, roasted walnuts

MOCHA ALMOND TURTLE: Mocha almond cake, mocha salted caramel buttercream, roasted almonds, ganahce, salted caramel drizzle
