With only four days left, we’ve finally hit the halfway mark of our IndieGoGo campaign! We have til the end of the week to raise another $4500 to help us open a new storefront at the DeKalb market and make our triumphant return to the world of retailing. So if any of you have some rich friends with a crap-ton of money they don’t know what to do with, could you hook us up?
Thank you so much to everyone who’s contributed so far- every little bit, even only a few dollars, really helps. It’s sort of amazing knowing how many people believe in us and believe in the dream- I’ve been tearing up every time I find out that people have been contributing, and seeing all the supportive Tweets and Facebook messages. It’s been a long road since we started this business three years ago, and there hasn’t been a single dull (or easy) moment about it. We are insanely fortunate not only to have each other and an incredible support network of friends and family, but to have fans like all of you as well. There’s not a second where we’re not grateful not just for our successes, but mostly for all the wonderful people that this business has brought into our lives. (Everyone together! “AWWWWWWWWWW”)
Since all this mushy stuff makes me feel gross, head on over to our Facebook page and help me discuss something super-awesome: MACGYVER. Matt and I have been watching episodes on Netflix every night, and there’s just so much to discuss, like:
-What’s up with MacGyver’s hair?
-No, really, what’s up with that?
That’s really all I got….having a lot of trouble moving past it. Last night we were watching an episode where he was fistfighting…..wait for it….BIGFOOT, and yet I still find his hair the most implausible part of the entire series. I’m sure we can talk about him turning a bike and a paperclip into a blowtorch or something, too…..just as long as we’re off the mushy stuff and talking about cool things like explosions and hair extensions.
And if you’d rather not talk about MacGyver, how about just going out and having one of these awesome cupcakes instead?
