I invited people to guest blog for me tonight, as I’m still in Philly/Sesame Place on vacation. I got two I thought were extra sweet, so here’s the first- a poem from Robicelli’s Superfan Kat Liverani!

Twas a hot night in June, and all throughout Philly
Matt and Allison Robicelli got silly
They abandoned their blog cause they wanted to eat
some fudge at the fudge shop - yum, what a treat!
Then back to the hotel to eat fudge in bed
Without risking reduced voltage problems from Con Ed
No deliveries to deliver, no cupcakes to bake
And for breakfast, they’ll just have another cheesesteak
When out on the roof deck, there arose such a clatter
Allison called the front desk to see what was the matter!
The moon shone down on Reading Terminal below
Full of the most delicious foods that I know
apple dumplings from the Amish, with fresh heavy cream,
butter dipped pretzels that melt like a dream,
Chocolate covered onions to make you say “ick!”
But don’t you dare leave without a sandwich from DiNic’s!
More juicy than apples, that pork sandwich be.
I think my boyfriend likes it more than he likes me.
But back to the clatter, down there on the roof,
With reindeer tap dancing on glittery hoofs,
And a little old driver, so happy and merry,
I knew he must be the Cupcake Blog Fairy!
On Bananas and Foster! On Tiramisu!
On Chocolate Caramel Pretzel and McClanahan, Rue!
To the top of the porch, to the top of DeKalb Mall!
Now munch away, munch away, munch away all!”
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
and away they all flew like the down of a thistle,
but I heard him proclaim as he flew off to bake,
“Forget crappy Geno’s, go to Pat’s King of Steaks!”
