Cupcake Selection

We like to confer with the engaged couple on their flavor preferences, and then help them select appropriate choices based on their individual tastes, choice of venue, theme, and menu.  We suggest an absolute minimum of one cupcake per guest, with extras for those requesting seconds.  We also suggest doing no more than 3 flavors, in order to not overwhelm your guests with options.  One of the choices should not contain nuts, and at least one should be chocolate.  For some of the flavors we have released in the past, please check http://www.robicellis.com/flavors.  We can also help custom design a flavor based on personal favorite flavors, wedding themes, ethnic backgrounds etc. for an additional fee.

Pricing

Cupcakes are priced per cupcake and do not include NYS sales tax. Our pricing starts at $3.00 per cupcake. A breakdown of the pricing is as follows:

  • Majority cupcakes cost $3.00
  • Certain very special cupcakes, such as Chicken n’Waffles, Baklava, and Peach Ghost Chili: $4
  • Certain very special cupcakes such as Kiwanis, Buffalo Chicken, Concetta: $5
  • Cupcake toppers: ranging from $2-$5 each.
  • Cupcake toppers can be provided by the bride and placed on cupcakes for no additional charge
  • Bride can provide specialty cupcake papers for the wedding at her own expense. Otherwise, the above prices include the use of plain white cupcake papers.
  • We can create a custom flavor for your wedding for an additional $50.
  • Depending on seasonality, some of our flavors are not available all year.  If there is a flavor you would like in its offseason, additional charges may apply to cover higher ingredient costs.
  • There is a 4 dozen minimum per flavor of cupcake flavor selected.  We suggest doing no more than three different flavors for your wedding.

Colors

Robicelli’s does NOT use any sort of chemical food colorings in our products.  Our cupcakes are also designed to encompass multiple flavor elements, meaning they are always topped with things such as homemade candies, sauces, compotes, glazes, and more.  Because of this, we cannot dye our frostings to any specific colors.  If you wish to further decorate your cupcakes, we suggest cupcake toppers which can be inserted into the tops of nearly any of our flavors.  These can easily be found on sites like Etsy, or by typing “Wedding Cupcake Toppers” into Google’s search engine.  Cupcake toppers provided by you must be given to us at least two weeks prior to the event.  It is also possible for us to make cupcake toppers for you with an image you provide.

Delivery

Delivery fees will apply based on your proximity to our commissary in Brooklyn, NY.  We can deliver to the five boroughs of NYC, most of Long Island, central & northern New Jersey. Delivery fees for weddings are slightly higher than our standard delivery rates as they are “one-offs”- meaning that instead of including your cupcakes with multiple other deliveries, we are commissioning a vehicle exclusively for your event.

Set-Up

In the majority of instances, set-up is provided by the company whom you have hired to do your catering under the wedding planner’s direction.  As former caterers ourselves, we respectfully decline to offer set-up services as to not interfere with their carefully planned aesthetic.  Robicelli’s will deliver cupcakes and any other materials into your caterers care at your selected venue.  Once cupcakes are delivered, we are no longer responsible for their storage or presentation.

In instances where the wedding is being held at a non-traditional venue (such as a private residence), or if there is no other catering besides dessert, Robicelli’s will gladly provide set-up services for an additional fee.

Cupcake Stands

Cupcake stands which can be designed and decorated to match your wedding theme can be purchased by the couple - see more information at The Cupcake Tree. Once the stand is decorated and ready for use, you may bring it to the reception site for your caterer to set up with the cupcakes.

Tastings

In an effort to keep our prices low, we do not offer free tastings.  It is impossible for us to create only one cupcake for tasting off our huge menu, and making several batches of multiple flavors would increade the overall price. We hope that you will select Robicelli’s for your event based on our reviews and reputation, or by purchasing sample cupcakes at one of our many locations so that you can judge us based on our high standards of quality. 

Save-The-Date Deposit

After deciding that Robicelli’s will make your cupcakes, a $100 deposit will be required this completed contract to ensure that Robicelli’s will be handling your event.  This deposit is non-refundable.
