Not New England-style, not Pennsylvania Dutch-style, we sampled dozens of whoopie pies (hard job, right?) and decided to come up with a style of our very own. We make our shells with the best cocoa in the world- Valrhona- and eschew traditional powder sugar/shortening fillings for our decadent French buttercream.
Classic: filled with vanilla-marshmallow buttercream
Nutella: filled with Nutella buttercream
Dark Chocolate Dulce: filled with dulce de leche buttercream and Maldon sea salt
Liddabit: filled with salted caramel & marshmallow buttercream, caramel drizzle and roasted peanuts
Rocky Road: filled with vanilla marshmallow cream, roasted almonds and chocolate chips
Butterscotch Pecan: filled with bourbon butterscotch buttercream and candied pecans
PB&J: filled with peanut butter buttercream and raspberry jam
Roasted Almond: filled with almond buttercream & roasted nuts
Cookies & Cream: filled with mascarpone buttercream and chopped chocolate cookies
Chocolate Mint: filled with peppermint buttercream and mint ganache
The Francis Lam: Named after one of Allison’s food writing heroes, this whoopie pie is filled with vanilla marshmallow buttercream swirled with sweet black sesame paste, then rolled in toasted black and white sesame seeds
Pumpkin Spice: filled with pumpkin and toasted marshmallow buttercream and brown sugar streusel *available Sept-November
Eggnog: filled with eggnog buttercream and fresh nutmeg *available December only
